Welcome to “Pearl, Unchained”. Glad you’re here!
If you’re new to this blog I’m letting you know that it has been written in somewhat of a chronological order. I explained about the child -sexual abuse, trafficking, and sexually abusive material, etc., in the earlier posts. I do usually put the earlier post title and date in if I’m referring to it in later one so you can easily go back to the post page to find it.
The first two entries, “Picking Up the Pieces/Pearl Unchained” & “Resurrection” are creative versions of my autobiography and are explained towards the end of the post titled “Hi, I’m Pearl” dated 10/12/20. Most (but not all) of the Friday writings are also creative endeavors.
There is either a music video (sometimes with lyrics printed below) or a poem at the end of the regular posts (not the creative ones) that pertains to the subject of the writing. I do not own any of the rights to any of the songs, nor most of the pictures.
And there’s a space for your comments at the bottom of every post so please let me know your thoughts if you’d like to share them. FYI, they will not be immediately visible to the public.
I’ll be the first to admit I’m a work in progress (a.k.a. WIP) and in spite of how hard I futilely try to be perfect, well, it ain’t happnin! So, like me, this blog is imperfect and am grateful to say, I’m o.k. with that. I’ll just keep doing the best I can and keep learning to laugh at and correct the ‘oopses’.
